The approximately 11-years-old white boy was running while only wearing "dark-colored pajamas" along West Main Street between North Catherine and Union streets on Sunday at approximately 11:19 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 20, Middletown Borough police stated in a release on Monday morning.
A good Samaritan stopped his vehicle and asked the dark-haired child if he was ok, and the boy said, "someone is chasing me," according to the release.
The good samaritan told the boy to stay put until he pulled his car around to help, but the boy took off running in the same direction as before, police say.
He was last seen in the area of the 7 & Eleven, according to the release
The Middletown police say:
"If you live in the area mentioned above and have a child fitting that description we are asking you to ensure that they are where they are suppose to be."
